iSafe Assist solves vehicle problems

Vehicle drivers know how inconvenient it would be if a vehicle stops in the middle of the road due to a breakdown or punctured tyre.

If a mechanic shop does not exist nearby, then it would multiply their troubles. It is not uncommon that in some cases vehicle problems turn to fatal to vehicle drivers.

The death of some IIT Delhi students in 2014 due to a tyre burst is an instance. The ride of enjoyment became fatal in this case due to the burst of one of the tyres and all the students died on the spot.

This resulted in creating awareness on road safety. Some alumni of IIT Delhi started Indian Road Safety Campaign (IRSC), the largest youth-led organization in the country to work with more than 1,500 colleges.

They created iSafe Assist to provide service round the clock for emergency and hassle-free roadside assistance in 28 states and 1,795 cities in the country.

iSafe Assist service was launched on 31 May 2019 at IIT Delhi. The team has more than 6,200 authorized local service providers to assist vehicle drivers in the event of unforeseen problems.

Their annual emergency assistance for your bike is available starting from ₹240 whereas the package for four-wheelers starts from ₹720.

You can avail their services even if you are not the subscriber of their service. A callout service is priced at ₹500 and the towing service costs ₹1,200 for distances up to 25 km.

Whether it is a flat puncture, engine breakdown, dead battery or being out of fuel on highways, you can use their services.

You need to call their helpline and describe your problem, details of your vehicle and location. You need to specify your requirements like emergency medical assistance or any other assistance.

Their services can be available via a toll-free helpline 1800 419 7779. A mobile application will also be launched within two months.
