National Science Centre Delhi announces recruitment | Fusion - WeRIndia

The National Science Centre Delhi (NSCD) is a leading science museum under the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

It has been a hub of science education and public engagement since its establishment in 1992.

Located near Pragati Maidan, NSCD promotes scientific curiosity and learning through its interactive exhibits, thematic galleries, science shows, and hands-on workshops.

With its focus on experiential learning, the Centre plays a key role in nurturing scientific temper and critical thinking among students and the general public.

In line with its expanding educational initiatives, NSCD has announced a recruitment drive for 24 full-time positions in various technical and support roles.

This move supports the Centre’s mission to strengthen science communication through well-qualified professionals.

Vacancies and Eligibility Criteria:

Technician-A: SSC/Matriculation with ITI certificate in relevant trade. The experience is as mentioned below:

• For a 2-year ITI course: 1 year of experience required
• For a 1-year course: 2 years of relevant experience required

Artist-A: Diploma or Certificate in Fine/Commercial Art (minimum 2 years), with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience.

Education Assistant-A: Bachelor’s degree in Science with subject combinations such as:

• Physics with Chemistry, Mathematics, Electronics, etc., or
• Chemistry with Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, etc.

Technical Assistant-A: 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Exhibition Assistant-A: Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or Commercial Arts.

Salary and Age Limit:

The selected candidates will receive a monthly pay between ₹19,900 and ₹63,200. The maximum age limit is 35 years.

Candidates will be shortlisted through a written test and/or interview. Detailed information will be available in the official notification.
