Delhi to Jaipur in 2.5 hours, new expressway link road
The upcoming expressway link between Delhi and Jaipur is set to bring major benefits to people who frequently travel between the two cities.
With its completion expected by June, this new 67-kilometre stretch will drastically cut travel time and offer a faster, safer, and smoother journey.
Currently, the trip from Delhi to Jaipur takes more than six hours. After reaching Dausa via the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, travellers must take the old NH-21 route to Jaipur.
This route goes through several small towns and villages, causing regular traffic jams and slow movement. A 100-kilometre stretch between Dausa and Jaipur can take up to three hours alone.
The new Bandikui-Jaipur link road will change this completely. It will be shorter by about 33 kilometres and allow vehicles to travel at speeds of up to 120 kmph.
As a result, the travel time will be reduced to just two and a half hours. This will be a huge relief for daily commuters, tourists, and transporters who rely on this route for business or personal travel.
People will no longer need to exit the expressway midway and face narrow, congested roads. Instead, they can stay on the expressway all the way from Delhi to Jaipur. This will make the journey more efficient, fuel-saving, and stress-free.
The benefits don’t stop there. NHAI is also working on a direct connection from Delhi’s DND Flyover to the expressway.
This means travellers can avoid going through Gurugram and Faridabad, further saving time and reducing traffic in those areas.
An overbridge is being built on the Delhi-Ahmedabad railway line, along with a one-kilometre stretch that will provide direct access to the new link road.
The new expressway link will also improve logistics and boost trade between Delhi and Rajasthan. Faster delivery times, lower transport costs, and easier access will benefit industries, tourism, and local businesses.
This project will not only shorten distances but also enhance the quality of travel, making it more convenient, economical, and comfortable for everyone.
