Water vs. Fruit juice
Fruit juices are considered to be one of the healthiest drinks. However, for whatever reason you might have, you might not like drinking fruit juices. You could prefer to have water. You can be happy about it because there are many reasons why sticking to just water is better. Here are some of them.
Amount of calories
Fruit juices have more calories than water. They might cause weight gain as opposed to water. However, fruit juices are quite healthy if you consume them without sugar and with unfiltered fiber content.
Sugar
As many people know, excessive sugar is quite dangerous to heart and metabolism. Water has no sugar as opposed to fruit juices which are filled with sugars. They cause your blood sugar to spike. If you chose to consume fruit juices for the sake of energy, it is advisable to not add any sugar.
Water hydrates body better
It is an obvious fact that water has more water than fruit juices. Even though juices are good for hydrating you, water is more efficient.
Eliminating toxins
Fruit juices are quite efficient at flushing out accumulated toxins. However, water is more efficient at flushing out toxins that have been accumulating in your body since a long time.
The cost of water and fruit juice
Water comes at a much less price than any fruit juice you can think of. This makes it an affordable choice of drink in your regime. Juices obviously come with the advantage of coming with nutrients. If you chose to drink water and no fruit juices at all, make sure you are getting all the essential nutrients your body needs.
Lesser work
Even though many fruit juices are simple to make, water needs absolutely no work (assuming you have access to clean water). This is obviously helpful for those who have less time in a day.
