Due to the overproduction of histamines in our body, allergy is triggered. This is mainly caused due to allergens, which are considered by our body as foreign substances. 4. The steam inhalation of eucalyptus oil is one of the most effective herbal remedies to treat allergic symptoms.
5. Fruit juices like orange and pineapple helps soothe the symptoms of allergies as they are rich in vitamin C.
6. Nux vomica is one of the most effective remedies to treat nasal irritation, sneezing, running nose and other allergic symptoms.
7. Consuming menthol and peppermint tea reduce the effects of histamines.
8. Stinging Nettle is an efficient home remedy which prevents the triggering of histamines in the body. However, while dealing with it be careful as the hairs on the plant may lead to inflammation.
9. Milk thistle lessens the symptoms of allergy and inflammation, and prevents the release of histamines. It assists in proper functioning of liver as well.
