Types of SBI Business Debit Cards

SBI offers various types of business debit cards. These cards are designed to meet the requirements of commercial banking customers.

The customers are allowed for higher cash withdrawal. They also have more online transaction limit than the normal debit cards.

Here are two such business debit cards that offer several benefits to the customers.

SBI Pride Debit Card offers a daily a cash withdrawal limit of ₹1 lakh and online or point of sale purchase transaction limit is ₹2 lakhs. The card can be used internationally. The foreign currency limit is equivalent to the domestic limit. The customers are allowed for a cash deposit of ₹49,900 per day at cash deposit machines. While there are no issuance charges on this card, the annual maintenance charge is ₹300 plus GST.


The cardholders will also be provided with a complimentary insurance cover for accidental death (non-air) for ₹2 lakhs and air accidental death cover for ₹4 lakhs. Purchase protection for theft or damage for an amount of up to ₹5,000 and lost card liability cover for ₹80,000 will also be available. However, the cardholder will have to inform the bank within 90 days of the date of purchase to avail this facility.

In addition to that, an amount of ₹50,000 for transportation of mortal remains and an amount of ₹25,000 for checked-in baggage loss cover are also available.

SBI Premium Debit Card offers a daily a cash withdrawal of ₹2 lakhs while the online or point of sale transaction limit is ₹5 lakhs per day. The card is valid globally subject to a maximum of foreign currency equivalent to the domestic limit. Customers are allowed for a cash deposit of ₹49,900 per day at cash deposit machines.

The card has no issuance charges and the annual maintenance charges are similar to that of SBI Pride debit card, i.e. ₹300 plus GST.  Cardholders can get purchase protection cover of up to ₹50,000 and lost card liability cover of up to ₹2 lakhs. Complimentary insurance for accidental death (non-air) for an amount of ₹5lakhs and air accidental insurance (death) for ₹10lakhs is available.

Besides, an amount of ₹50,000 for transportation of mortal remains and ₹25,000 for checked-in baggage loss cover are also available.
