These are some stocks to consider that are under ₹100. However, since stocks are very volatile, set a target before buying one and be careful in doing so.

Don’t rush to buy it, and always keep the price in mind. That said, these are some low-value stocks to take into consideration.

• Hindustan Construction Company, or HCC, is one of the most prestigious companies of construction services in the country and has a stock at a mere ₹40. For Quarter 4 of 2016 to 2017, their net profit was ₹20.9 crore and their turnover was at ₹1,358 crore. They also have a good order book on their hands, and will likely decrease debt and increase money flow in the coming year.

• The IDFC Bank, which is the private sector bank promoted by IDFC, has stock with a current price of ₹57. The net NPA was 1.14 percent at the end of the quarter on March 31, and the EPS of the bank for FY 2017 was ₹3. This means a discounting of almost 18 times, and this is a great stock to look into for long-term investment.

• Triveni Engineering is one of the largest sugar companies in India and has a current stock at ₹78. When the quarter ended on March 31 it reported an EPS of ₹2.22 and an EPS of ₹9.06 for FY 2017 to 2018. The company is to benefit from rising sugar prices in the future, so this inexpensive stock may be a smart buy.

• Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals, one of the largest private sector fertilizer producers in the country, has a current stock of ₹122. This is inexpensive with its EPS of ₹9.15 for the full year of 2016 to 2017, and the p/e is only 13 times. Various initiatives by farmers into fertilizers will likely make this a profitable buy in the near future.

• The South Indian Bank, or SI Bank, has a very inexpensive current stock at only ₹28, with a P/E of only around 10 times to boot. Banking shares are likely to show recovery in the near future, so this stock is good for long term investments of about 2 to 3 years.
