The Mud Rush Fest
The Mud Rush is an adventure fest in India. It is held on August 8, 2015 in Dudhani Village, Silvassa. It starts at 7:00 am and ends by 3:00 pm. It runs for every 30 minutes. All participants should reach the venue, the Dudhani Lake one hour before the required running time to register at box office. But, they cannot arrive after 12 pm. Runners are allotted times on the basis of first-come first-serve.
The prices for Passes are as follows: Participant Pass is Rs.2500, Spectator or Sundowner Party pass is Rs.1500, and Child Pass is Rs.1500, and issued for children between 10 to 16 years.
The aim of the Mud Rush is to test not only the strength of participants but also their mental determination. The length of track is 5+ kilometers and involves all-terrain marathon style run. The time taken to complete the activity depends upon the speed of participants. Participants walk, crawl and climb.
The fest consists of 100 foot long path of tires, 45 degree hills, fire, ice, and, all entirely in the Mud. There is an age limit to participate. All the runners who would like to participate in this event need to be aged at least 16 years of age or more. Runners can wear any type of costume of they desire.
