The CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Lucknow, has announced vacancies for multiple posts.

Eligible Indian citizens are invited to apply online for these positions. Below are the essential details about the available positions, qualifications, and the application process.

The NBRI is offering the following posts with specified vacancies and pay levels:

• Junior Hindi Translator
• Junior Stenographer (Hindi/English)
• Security Officer

To apply for these positions, candidates must meet the required qualifications and fall within the specified age limits:

While the age limit for the junior Hindi translator is 30 years, it is 27 years for the post of junior stenographer (Hindi/English). However, the age limit for the post of security officer is 35 years.

The education qualification should be 10+2 or equivalent for the post of junior stenographer.

Those who want to apply for the post of Junior Hindi translator should have a Master’s degree in Hindi or English, with either of them as a compulsory subject. Besides, they should also have a translation diploma or certificate.

Security officer candidates should have 10 years of security experience or equivalent rank in Para-military forces.

Each post has a specific selection procedure:

• Junior Hindi Translator post has two written exams – an objective and a descriptive exam. Only candidates who pass the objective test will have the descriptive exam paper evaluated. The final selection is based on the results of the descriptive paper.
• Junior Stenographer post has a competitive written test with various sections, like reasoning, English etc., and a stenography test. The selection is based on written test performance.
• Security Officer post has a Physical and Personality Assessment Test. It is a qualifying test and those who pass this test need to appear for a written exam for candidates who pass the assessment. Based on the written exam scores, a final selection will be made.

The application process involves the following steps:

• Candidates need to register to submit their application.
• They have to fill out the form and submit it. No changes will be allowed after submission.
• Ensure all documents, including a recent photograph and relevant certificates, are uploaded during the application process.
• Keep your email and mobile number active throughout the recruitment period for any updates.
• Applicable candidates should have to pay a fee of ₹100.
• Then download the application and keep it for future reference.
