CMPFO recruitment 2024: Jobs for translators & others | Fusion - WeRIndia

The Coal Mines Provident Fund Organisation (CMPFO) has announced a recruitment drive for Group B and C positions, specifically for Junior Hindi Translator and Social Security Assistant roles.

Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online for these positions by the deadline of September 6, 2024.

Notably, there is no application fee for these posts, making it an attractive opportunity for eligible applicants. Candidates applying for these roles must adhere to the age limits set by CMPFO.

The minimum age requirement is 18 years. For the Junior Hindi Translator position (Group B), the maximum age limit is 30 years. However, the maximum age limit is 27 years for the Social Security Assistant (Group C) post.

For the post of junior Hindi translator,  candidates must possess a Master’s degree from a recognised university in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject, or vice versa.

Alternatively, a Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English as a compulsory subject at the degree level, is acceptable.

Additionally, candidates should have a recognized diploma or certificate in translation or at least two years of translation experience in a government office.

Candidates should hold a degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification for the social security assistant position. Furthermore, they must demonstrate a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer.

This typing proficiency translates to 10,500 key depressions per hour (KDPH) in English or 9,000 KDPH in Hindi, based on an average of five key depressions per word.

Selected candidates must be prepared to serve in any CMPFO offices across India. The organization has offices in various locations including New Delhi, Kolkata etc.

Candidates can choose up to three preferred locations for their initial posting, though final decisions rest with the Appointing Authority.
