In Rajasthan, a 40-year-old woman named Asha Kandara, who worked as a sanitation worker, has overcome many challenges to achieve her dream of cracking the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) exam.

Despite facing numerous obstacles, Asha never gave up on her dream.

Asha was abandoned by her husband. She had to work to support her two children.

As a single mother, she took up different tasks to raise and feed her children.

Her story is an inspiration to many and a testament to the power of education and determination.

Asha Kandara, a 40-year-old sanitation worker from Jodhpur, has cleared the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) examination.

She has been appointed as a senior official in the state administrative service.

Asha’s story is inspiring as she did not let the challenges of being abandoned by her husband and raising two children alone discourage her from pursuing her dreams.

With the help of her parents, she completed her graduation and appeared for the RAS exam in 2018.

Despite getting a job at the Jodhpur Municipal Corporation, she continued her studies. Finally, she cleared the exam after waiting for the results to be declared due to the pandemic.

In an interview, Asha shared her belief in persevering through difficult situations and turning obstacles into opportunities.

Asha’s father is her inspiration. He taught her the value of education. In fact, pursued his own studies despite coming from an underprivileged background.

Asha was motivated by him and succeeded in her path. She plans to use her position in administrative services to help other less privileged individuals like herself. She believes that education is the key to opening doors of opportunity.
