Have you ever imagined a school dropout running a company? Here is a success story of a school dropout. He is just 16 year-old, but is inspiring many people with his success as entrepreneur. This school dropout is running two companies now.
Angad Daryani dropped out his school while he is studying grade 9 in a state board school in Maharashtra after getting frustrated with the routine learning. He then started open schooling to save the time which he used for building technology, research and travelling for public speaking.
Then, he developed an “eye-pad” for the blind working with MIT. He also developed the first 3D Printer in India and probably the cheapest 3D Printer in the world. He also gave speeches in TEDx, one of them is the Asia’s largest TEDx events. He also developed a solar powered boat and Garunio, an automated gardening system to water the plants at the age of 10.
His father and grandfather inspired him. Dilip Ogale, his childhood teacher who taught him physics and chemistry concepts using live models in grade 6, and Shailesh Sansare who taught him to build a hovercraft also inspired him. Many articles have been published about this school dropout turned entrepreneur.
