Nanoclean works on mass production of nanofibers
Nanoclean is a Delhi based startup. Founded by IIT Delhi alumni, Nanoclean is working on mass production of nanofibers in the country.
The startup launched Nasofilter which costs only ₹10 in the market. Now Nanoclean is introducing AC filters that can turn any AC into an air purifier.
It costs only ₹399. The AC filters were launched on June 5 on the occasion of World Environment Day. So far, 15,000 units have been sold.
Nanoclean was founded in 2017 by Prateek Sharma, Tushar Vyas and Jatin Kewlani. It won the Startup National Award by the President of India.
The startup received a number of grants from the government of India.
Initially, Nanoclean launched Nasofilter pollution net, a B2B product. It allows your home to be free from dust, allergens, UV rays, and PM 2.5 and PM 10 particles.
The Nasofilter pollution net can be inserted on doors and windows to protect against pollution.
The outer layer of the mesh is water-resistant as it is hydrophobic.
Now, the company has launched an AC filter which is made of pure polypropylene to filter PM 2.5 pollutants.
The AC filter does not impact the AC cooling system, claims the company. So, one can fix this AC filter to any AC to purify the air.
Nancolean claims that their AC filter can purify the room by 90 per cent within one hour. Depending on the pollution levels, one needs to change their AC filters in one or two months.
The company says normal air purifiers can last for only 15 days whereas their filter can work for at least a month even in polluted areas.
Nanoclean is exporting their products to more than 30 countries and 75 per cent of its revenue is coming from these exports.
