While many companies offer home and kitchen appliances to businesses, Lifelong Online sells directly to customers.

Bharat Kalia, the founder of Lifelong Online, launched the startup as a D2C brand. He identified a gap in the sector of consumer durables as most of the existing brands are designed for urban customers. Also, most of them do not have efficient production and distribution methods.

In this context, Bharat wanted to bring home appliances that are useful for rural consumers as well. Before commencing his own venture, he worked with a management consultancy firm. Intending to fill the gap in the sector of consumer durables and appliances, he launched Lifelong Online.

He aims to bring efficient products into the market at an affordable price. Bharat quit his job and launched his brand. Varun Grover and Atul Raheja also joined him.


As Bharat wanted to sell his products directly to his customers, he built a D2C model. As a result, Lifelong Online focuses lean supply chain. Hence, the startup effectively cut its costs. It passes on the benefits to consumers. That’s why the prices of many products are affordable to many people, as per the startup.

Lifelong Online has three factories to manufacture its products. Two factories are in Haryana, and one is in Coimbatore.

The startup follows a product development cycle. It identifies the needs of customers and takes feedback from them. It updates its products and launches refined products based on the feedback and data of customers.

The founders started with a small investment and made a mixer grinder. Later, the trio brought in many products in various categories like kitchen appliances, consumer durables, fitness, lifestyle, grooming etc.

Now, this Gurugram-based startup generates a revenue of around ₹40 crores in the peak season. A major portion of its revenue comes from the sale of home and kitchen appliances, followed by sports and grooming products.
