Railways to launch Vande Metro soon | Fusion - WeRIndia

Vande Bharat trains are semi-high-speed electric trains. Due to their speed and advanced features, many passengers like to travel on these trains.

Currently, eight Vande Bharat trains are operational in the country. Two more Vande Bharat trains will be launched in the next month.

In addition, Indian Railways is planning to roll out more trains in the next financial year by ramping up production.

Soon, Indian Railways will be launching Vande Metro trains. Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw announced the matter.

He also said that the first Hydrogen train will be rolled out in the country by December 2023.

The minister announced that Vande Metro trains will be launched to ease the travelling for passengers.

They will be manufactured indigenously and launched soon. They are a mini version of Vande Bharat Express trains.

These trains will benefit people living in big cities and wishing to travel to and from their workplaces and hometowns.

Also, they will be useful for those who wish to travel to a big city leisurely and go back to their home place.

Their design is likely to be completed in a year. So, the first train is expected to be launched by the end of the year. The production will be ramped up in the next financial year.

Here are the features of Vande Metro trains:

• Vande Metro trains will provide a shuttle-like experience for passengers. They can travel to and from rapidly hassle-free.
• They will benefit people who wish to travel to various big cities without wasting time on journeys. Business people, students and working people will also get benefit from them.
• They will have eight coaches, like a metro train.
• General Managers of various factories started working on rolling out the rakes for Vande Metro trains according to the directions of the Ministry of Railways.
