New Jio Phone updates | Fusion - WeRIndia

Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance has announced their Jio smartphone. The phone is named the ‘Jio Phone Next’.

This smartphone is being developed in association with Google itself. The new phone is being hailed as an affordable smartphone that everyone can have access to. Mukesh Ambani said that the phone is being made with Indian users in mind.

The phone is set to launch on September 10, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. According to Reliance, the Jio Phone Next will be an optimized android based smartphone. The phone is set to make breakthroughs with great language and translation features.

Even though it will be an affordable smartphone, Reliance said they are aiming to have premium features in it.

This Android-based smartphone will have its own Voice assistant. The company is also planning accessibility features like Reading the screen text out loud. They are including language translation as well.

Reliance is trying to make this phone one of the most affordable phones in not just India but globally.

Mukesh Ambani said that the teams in Reliance and Google have worked hard to make a breakthrough phone.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai said that the teams worked to make an optimized version of Android specifically tailored for this phone. He added that the OS has been optimized for India and also users who would be operating a smartphone for the first time.

One of the main features of the Jio Phone is that users can immediately translate what’s on their screen with just a button tap and have it be read back in their own language. This works with text on any apps, including messages and it even works with photos.
