Requirements:

• Both old and new phones should have Android OS Lollipop 5.1 (SDK 23) or higher.
• Maintain the same phone number on your new device.
• Don’t register the new phone on WhatsApp before migration.
• Keep the phones close together during the transfer.
• Ensure both phones are connected to power and have WiFi enabled.
• WhatsApp needs certain permissions, including precise location on Android 12 or below.
