Medicinal benefits of Jeera
Jeera or cumin seeds are very common in Indian cuisine. It is added in many recipes to improve the taste. Taste is not the only thing cumin can give. Consuming cumin can result in a lot of several health benefits. Even in Ayurveda, Jeera is considered very healthy and used in many medicines. Here are some health benefits of Jeera.
Water boiled with cumin seeds can increase milk for breast-feeding mothers. It can also reduce irritation in the uterus. Gargling with this water can also improve oral hygiene. It can even treat mouth ulcers and freshen breath.The water can also help with bleeding gums.
A mixture of jeera powder and honey reduces pain in colon and is useful for treating diarrhea. It can even help with heartburn.
