Health benefits of ice apple
Ice apple or palm fruit is available in summer. This seasonal fruit looks like lychee in texture and tastes like tender coconut. It is one of the best summer fruits, which is found in Southeast India.
Ice apple is loaded with many vitamins like A, B, C, and K, and minerals like calcium, phosphorus etc. You can either eat the pulp of the fruit or make juice with it.
If you want to eat the fruit, consume it fresh to avoid health issues. Do not eat overripe fruit as it may cause stomach issues.
Also, do not overeat it. Consume it in moderate quantity to get its benefits.
You can also mix the fruit with watermelon or coconut water to make a mixed juice. You can add some jaggery to the juice to get additional iron content to your body.
Some people add condensed milk and milk to ice apple pulp to make a milkshake. You can also try the recipe. Add some dry fruits like almonds and pistachio for extra taste and benefit.

- Ice apple can eliminate toxins from the body and improve the function of the liver.
