Pune Heritage Festival | Fusion - WeRIndia

Virasat Pune Club offers Heritage festival from February 6 to February 15, 2015. Membership is free for all in this club. Members can enjoy heritage walks, workshops, and many more throughout the year. They can win prizes in a lucky draw that is conducted every three months.

Started in 2012, the Heritage Festival has been conducted each year for a week, the ‘Heritage Week’. Now the fourth Heritage Festival will be conducted in this year.

There are many activities in this heritage festival. These include day tours, heritage walks, exhibitions, workshops, lectures, films, cycle rides, quiz, games and many more. Many popular organizations such as Bharat Itihas Sanshodhak Mandal, IUCCA, FTII, NFAI and Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad participate in this event.

This first-of-its-kind event in India is unique in Maharashtra which reflects the rich heritage of Pune. The premises of Omkareshwar Temple and Vishrambaug Wada were opened for public for the first time.

If you want to participate in this festival, you have to register by filling a form on the website. Registration is mandatory for all people who are aged above 10 years. Each person needs to fill a separate form for different events.
