RBI launches nationwide quiz for students with ₹10 lakh prize | Fusion - WeRIndia

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is set to celebrate its 90th anniversary by organizing a nationwide quiz competition, the RBI 90 Quiz, aimed at undergraduate students across all streams.

This exciting initiative seeks to engage young minds by testing their knowledge in areas like history, economy, and current affairs.

The competition offers participants a chance to win significant cash rewards, with the top prize being a whopping ₹10 lakh.

Registrations for the quiz began on August 20, 2024, and the application window will remain open until September 17, 2024.

According to the University Grants Commission (UGC), higher education institutions across India are encouraged to promote this opportunity and motivate their students to participate.

The competition will serve not only as a platform for showcasing knowledge but also as a celebration of RBI’s rich history and contributions to the country.

The quiz competition will be conducted in four phases, starting with an online round, which will be available in both Hindi and English.

Students from registered colleges will participate in this initial phase. The top performers will advance to the state level, where an on-stage competition will be held.

From there, the winners will move to the zonal round, and finally, the best teams will compete at the national level. The competition promises significant rewards, starting from the state level.

At the national level, the first-place winner will receive ₹10 lakh, while the second-place and third-place winners will be awarded ₹8 lakh and ₹6 lakh, respectively. To participate, students must register before the deadline of September 17, 2024.
