Seekho – Jobtech platform for youth

The pandemic created multiple opportunities in the edtech sector. Hence many startups emerged into the sector. While some of them are focusing on school children, some others focus on job aspirants. Here is a startup, Seekho, a video-first micro-learning platform. The startup emerged to help youth improve their skills.

Divya Jain, Arihant Jain, and Ajeet Singh Kushwaha are the founders of Seekho. Divya Jain says that the pandemic changed the lives of many students. Seekho is her second venture. Her first venture was Safeducate.

Divya pursued her master’s degree from Cambridge University, UK. She worked in investment banking at Citigroup. She realized that there was a huge gap between the CV of the candidate and the job description of recruiters. In addition to that, companies are also struggling to hire the right candidate for the right job.

Seekho aims to bridge the gap. The startup offers mentorship and learning. Youth can use all these on a single platform. It also provides earning opportunities to them.

The startup mainly focused on users, mentors, corporates. The founders claim that Seekho is the only jobtech startup that brings all these stakeholders on a single platform.

Users of the startup can learn through multiple videos available on the platform. These videos include live classes, both short and long-format videos. Users can also get a peer-to-peer learning experience by becoming part of the online learning community.

The short-video series comprise 60-second videos. If users want to learn the subject in-depth, they can enrol for long-term courses and programmes. Users can access many live and interactive events by subscribing to Seekho’s Academies. The cost of a subscription is ₹99 per month.

More than 350 mentors engaged five lakh young professionals on the portal to date. They also worked with students from 45 colleges and universities. Around 100 corporates post jobs each month. The startup aims to improve its users by the end of the next year.
