MindBatteries is a company which focuses on edutainment. Edutainment is making the way of education more interesting. The company aims at revolutionizing education and the way things are taught.

The company wants to mix education with entertainment. They aim to change the “boring” and less practical education available into something practical and entertaining.

MindBatteries wants make learning more fun and entertaining. They want to offer something unique compared to the other educational content which is usually focused on education or entertainment but not both. This is why they call it edutainment.

They offer various types of content like Quizzes (Business, General, Sports, Movies, Science etc.), contests (Spell Bees, Debates, JAM sessions etc.), on ground events (Conferences, panel discussions, conclaves etc.), and videos. They launched many video series like the Startupreneur Series.

They currently have a contest called Ideathon – Chase Your Dreams Contest. This is for those who have a great idea in their mind and are looking for a way to turn it into a reality. The winner of the grand prize of this contest gets 1 crore INR as funding from Vijay Shekhar Sharma.

The top 5 teams of the contest will get special engagement and mentorship opportunity with Vijay Shekhar Sharma. The top 3 teams will get IBM Cloud credits for 1 year valued at Rs 17, 00,000. The top 5 teams also get free co-working space @ 91SPRINGBOARD for 3 months. It is sponsored by ‘Co-working space partner’ – 91springboard. Of the 5 teams, 2 Members from each can avail this offer.

5 other teams who participated will get free work space at RentADesk for 3 months. It is sponsored by MindBatteries’ ‘Workspace partner – Hyderabad’ – Rent A Desk. The offer can be availed by 2 Members from each team.

The top 20 teams of the contest get the chance to be prioritized in fund raising opportunity through ah! Ventures which gives the chance to raise anywhere between $100,000 to $1,000,000.
