Many restaurants and eateries are emerging in the country to satisfy the needs of food lovers. The restaurants and joints that come up with unique concepts are successfully growing in the market. InnerChef is one such company, which provides a wide variety of foods to their customers.

InnerChef is a Gurgaon based company. It was founded in 2015 by Rajesh Sawhney, Bal DiGhent and Sanjeev Singha. It integrates technology to food services. It is one of fastest growing food tech companies in India.

InnerChef offers fresh and delicious food to their customers. The food is delivered to their doorsteps within an hour or so. Though the company claims that it specializes in exotic salads with low-calorie dressings and salad combos, it offers European, Mediterranean and modern Indian dishes. Pastas, snacks and desserts are also on their menu.

InnerChef provides meals in two types. One is Ready-to-Eat meals and another is 15-min Meals. Ready-to-Eat meals can be eaten immediately and 15-min Meals is suitable for home-cooking by providing a ready-to-cook package. Everything including washing, chopping and prepping all the ingredients, salad dressings, spreads, sauces, etc. is done by the company and you can simply follow the recipe to cook your favourite and delicious dish.


Initially the company started with the concept of sending boxes to their customers with all necessary ingredients. Though many of the customers liked the concept and the company got many orders, the founders wanted to extend ready-to-eat services as well. This is because the initial concept was limiting their growth and they realized that their growth was not as fast as they wanted.

With the extension of their services to ready-to-eat, now the company is expanding its target market. They offer different products and combo boxes at different prices. For instance, a combo box of a panini, salad and juice is priced between Rs.200 and Rs.250. However, with the current youth opting for more healthy meals, the product was not as successful as the company expected. They worked on different models and are currently expanding their services to various cities across the country. The company estimates their current growth to be at 40 percent every month.
