WhatsApp to roll out an update for or audio recording
WhatsApp is one of the most widely used social media messaging platforms due to its simple user interface and easy usage.
This instant messaging platform adds new features regularly to attract users. WhatsApp added the rupee symbol to chats to ease faster payments on the platform. Furthermore, it is going to add a cashback feature on WhatsApp payments and roll out a new feature to redesign group information.
WhatsApp is also working on a Read Later feature to roll out for both Android and iOS users. It is an improvised feature of existing Archived chats.
In addition to that, WhatsApp is going to launch a new feature to simplify the process of recording audio messages.
At present, users need to record the audio note in a single attempt, and there is no option of pause and resume the audio recording from where they stopped. As a result, they have to approve the recorded message in a single attempt or re-record it completely.
Now, WhatsApp is working to bring a new way for recording audio messages, with which users can stop in between the audio recording and resume in the same audio message. There is no need to re-record the entire audio note.
The new feature will be available for both Android and iOS users. As per the report of WABetaInfo, users can pause the audio recording and resume it again when needed.
WABetaInfo is a website that tracks new features and updates of WhatsApp.
The new feature was displayed in a video by the website. According to the video clip, WhatsApp will provide three buttons for audio recording. There is a red icon to start and stop the audio recording. Users need to click on it for recording the message.
Besides, WhatsApp re-introduced an end-to-end encryption feature for beta testers. This feature was withdrawn by it earlier.
