Several allegations were received from groups like Shri Rajput Karni Sena. They alleged that the movie depicts inaccurate facts. The movie was constantly attacked by their threats and attacks.
The Sena group also stated that they will call for a Bharat Bandh on December 1 on which the movie is expected to release. They also threatened that they will gather in lakhs and will not allow anyone to black history.
The UP CM wrote to the Centre about the movie stating that the movie release can be a big threat to the law and order in the state.
Earlier this week a cinema hall in Rajasthan’s Kota that was screening the movie trailer was targeted by a Rajput group. Several shops in the nearby location to the hall were vandalized by Rajput Karni Sena.
More than one lakh members gathered at Gandhinagar and thousands of people participated in protest march in Surat against this movie.

The granddaughter of the last ruler of Jaipur said that the film-maker is seeking to highlight the romantic angle in the queen rather than highlighting her sacrifice in the movie.
