Robot that can talk and pick up object built by a 11th grader

This 11th grader built a robot from scratch. The robot is fully functional and is set to compete in an international level.  Meet AkshayKaushik, an 11th grader from DAV school, DayanandVihar, Delhi who made this amazing robot from scratch. He is hoping to represent India at the World Championship which is about to be held in April at Louisville, USA.

The robot can walk and even pick up things by itself.

Kaushik says that he is very excited that he and his team made it this far. It all started with a small robotics competition where our team won the first prize in Delhi-NCR recalls Kaushik. The efforts of Kaushik and his team were made fruitful after they got their chance to present the robot in Mumbai and Chennai in similar conferences. They were declared national champions after this.

The initial competition for which the team made this robot required them to make a fully functional robot from scratch from various parts and materials.  Kaushikwas the programmer and also second driver of the robot. He said he felt great that their robot performed the best as it picked up all the coins on time and walked flawlessly.
