Here is another eco-friendly invention for those who want to go green.

If you are getting married, consider these eco-friendly wedding invitations so you can do your wedding in a more environmentally friendly way.

These wedding invitations are made by a Bangalore based startup called A2 Naturals.

They are simple and creative in design.

They come with a 7.5 cm high ‘Seedball Ganesha’ idol.

The idol is packed with plant seeds.

Wedding trends are something that Indians always pay a lot of attention to.

A2 Naturals wants these eco-friendly wedding invitations to be the new trend with so many modern consumers who are interested in saving the environment.

Their idea is that these invitations will work as souvenirs for those who visit the wedding.

Almost everything that is spent on a wedding is temporary and it will lose significance after the wedding is over.

However, these idols of Ganesha can be planted to create a lasting and memorable souvenir.

The usage of Lord Ganesha on wedding cards is very common.

The Seedball Ganesha idol is a creative twist on the regular design.

On Ganesh Chaturthi, A2 naturals made GoMaye Ganesha. They are idols made from 100% natural ingredients like cow dung.

This was the basis for the wedding cards. The expanded that idea to Seedball Ganesh.

The company met with farmers in the village of Mallasandra in Tumkur district near Bengaluru. They were trained to make Seedball Ganesha idols.

These idols are also being a great help for the farmers who could only make the idols seasonally. But with these wedding invitations, their employment is no longer seasonal. Those farmers are now getting year round orders to make these idols. A2 naturals is now promoting these idols to niche members to expand further.
