India surpassed China’s GDP | Fusion - WeRIndia

For the first time, India has overtaken China in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Defence minister Manohar Parikkar stated so on Saturday. Parikkar stated this during a press conference held at the state headquarters.

He stated that the inflation in country has come down and the employment rate has increased. He stated that the economy has grown by 7 percent and more. For the first time India has overtook China in terms of GDP growth, Parikkar said.

He continued that India has crossed 7 percent this year and that growth is uniformly good. In the last two years the growth was faltering between 4.5 to 5 percent. He added that this time in the Modi’s government the country has managed to cross 7 to 7.5 percent.

Parrikar is the former chief minister of Goa. He said that even though the going was good due to the decisions taken by the NDA government. He added that the real impact of the good governance will be visible in the following years. He stated that this rate of progress will continue in the coming year too. And the impact of the tasks done (by the NDA government) will be seen in the coming years, Parrikar added.
