Dal with rice is a good combination. Dal is not just rich in proteins but also in other nutrients like minerals and vitamins. It has good nutritional value. Rice is loaded with carbohydrates with other nutrients. When you eat dal with rice, it satisfies hunger.
You can try roti with dal as well. It is also a good combination. You can get all the required nutrients to the body. At the same, it satisfies your hunger. It minimizes your craving for other foods in between meals. Thus, it can help manage your weight.
Roti with vegetable curry is another good combination. Roti is high in carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and fibre. As vegetables are loaded with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, you can make curry with mixed vegetables. If you want, you can also add paneer or egg to the curry to get additional protein content.
Idli and sambar are one of the most popular foods in South India. This breakfast recipe fills your stomach without adding many calories. Both idli and sambar are low in calories but can provide essential nutrients to the body. It is worth trying.
Rajma is high in proteins and other nutrients. It has high fibre content. Hence, it is an ideal food for those who want to lose weight. Eat rice or roti with rajma curry to control your weight.
Dal khichdi provides protein, iron, calcium, and vitamins to the body. Add vegetables to get additional flavour and nutrients. Eat it with curd to make it a wholesome meal.
Poha is high in iron, fibre, vitamins, and antioxidants. Eat it with curd to get enough protein, healthy fats, and other essential vitamins and minerals to the body.
