Kasauli Rhythm & Blues Music Festival is held in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh each year. It was started by Genesis Foundation in 2012 aiming to improve its community of donors. The Foundation strongly believes that music is a positive force that can bring a change, it encourages musical talent of new as well as renowned artistes for providing assistance to the critically ill and underprivileged orphan children that are under their care.

The Music Festival will be held from March 25 to March 27 this year in the Easter weekend. Various events will be held on various days of the Festival. Some of the popular groups in the Festival are Frisky Pints, The Disparrows, Army Pipers and Army Jazz band etc. Ustaad Fazal Qureshi and Ravi Iyer’s feat will be on the first day of the event. Renowned Bollywood playback singer Shilpa Rao’s performance will also be there on the same day. There will also be some special surprise performances from Bollywood during the event.

The trustees bear the total overhead costs and the total funds raised by the event are devoted to support the critically ill children.


The Music Festival consists of various music genre ranging from Rock, Funk, Blues, Folk Rock etc. It is a blend of music and dance including electronic dance music. In another words, the Musical Festival is a blend of various types of music including western, Sufi and Bollywood. The destination is for music lovers. The event is in Baikunth Resort in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh.
