International Sweet Festival
Good news to food lovers! International sweet festival is being held in Parade Grounds, Hyderabad, Telangana from January 13 to 15.
Each place has a popular delicacy and this festival gives opportunity to exhibit their delicacies.
The highlight of this festival is that almost 50 varieties of sweets from 25 states are being exhibited here.
In addition to that, eight countries are also joining this festival. Approximately 1,000 varieties of sweets from across the globe are displayed in this festival.
This unique festival reflects the culture and food habits of every country that participates in this event. The festival opens from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Telangana’s Qubani ka Meetha, Andhra Pradesh’s Puthrekulu, Arunachal Pradesh’s Khapse, Assam’s Narikol Laddoo, Bengali Rasgulla, Kerala’s Ilayappam, Tamil Nadu’s Pongal, Karnataka’s Mysore Pak, Gujarat’s Basundi, Maharashtra’s Modak, Rajasthan’s Ghevar, Uttara Pradesh’s Balushahi, Bihar’s Khaja, Haryana’s Ghond ke Laddoo, Punjab’s Pinni, Nagaland’s Koat Pitha, Sikkim and Jharkhand’s Sael Roti, Odisha and Jammu’s Chhena Poda and Meghalaya’s Pukhlein are some mouth-watering delicacies that are being exhibited in this food festival.
Some special sweets of this festival are: Ariselu, besan laddoo, boondi laddoo, bamboo Karachi halwa, gulab jamun, dry fruit barfi, mysorepak and jalebi.
Those who want to participate in this festival can register their names and the sweet they want to prepare for exhibition in the participants’ registration form.
They also have to provide all basic details like their age, gender, city and state from where they are coming and their contact details such as mobile number and email.
