October 11, 2015 will mark the day of Triathlon 2015. Triathlon is a sporting event which will consist of three different sports which should be completed in succession. The three events are: Swimming, cycling, and running. The event consists of various levels of difficulty to fit all levels of people. From regular joggers to professional athletes, anyone can participate in this event to test their stamina.

There are nine events which will be held on the same day at the same time. Hence, anyone can participate in only one event. Starting at 5:30 am, the event will be held at the Gachibowli stadium (GMC Balayogi Stadium). It is a multipurpose stadium with a built-up area of 4 acres. It can hold 30,000 people in it. The stadium consists of a world class 50m swimming pool and a seating capacity of 2,000 spectators.

There are five different levels in Triathlon. Participants can chose an option based on their level of stamina and upon completion of the event, they will receive a medal. The five options of Triathlon are as follows: 3/4 Iron Triathlon, 1/2 Iron Triathlon, Olympic Triathlon, Sprint Triathlon and Novice Triathlon. For Sprint Triathlon, the participants should have age of 12 years and more. For Novice Triathlon, all the people who are above five years of age are eligible. And for the remaining three events, the minimum age of participants should be at least 18 years old. Registration fee varies with each event.

There are other sports events like Duathlon and Mini Series options available for the participants. Duathlon comprises of two sports events running and cycling. It begins and ends with running, and cycling is in between.

Accommodation is also provided for the participants if they wish to stay within 3 kilometers from the stadium where the event takes place. Charges depend upon the distance and the services required by the participants.
