Adventurous journey to Kalavantin Durg | Fusion - WeRIndia

If you love adventures then don’t miss this adventurous trekking in in Kalavantin Durg, Maharashtra. The Durg is also known as Prabalgad Fort. It is considered as the most dangerous fort. But, for trekking lovers who seek adventure, this trip is from April 23 evening to April 24 afternoon.

A private bus is arranged for all the people who book the tickets for this trip at Book My show. The bus will pick all of them at the specified pickup points by 5pm on April 23. If you want to join in this adventurous journey, you too can join them by booking a ticket. Then, you will reach Thakurwadi by 7 pm where you will have light snacks before trekking the dangerous fort.

Then you will start your trekking towards Prabalmachi, the base village for the trek to Kalavantin Durg. While climbing this plateau, you will have a glimpse of the moon rising from behind the mountains in a little light which can certainly make you thrilled. You will have your dinner at Prabalmachi. You will spend the night there and sleep there for few hours.

The next day early morning by 5am you need to start your trekking journey to Kalavantin Durg. You will reach the peak of the fort by 7 am while enjoying the dawning of the sun. You can have a beautiful sunrise view from the peak of the fort and then start descending to Prabalmachi where you can have your breakfast. Then you will start walking to reach the bus village to get into the bus in which you arrive at the place.

If you want to enjoy the trip buy a ticket for Rs.2800. This includes travelling in the bus, meals which covers snacks, dinner and the breakfast on the next day, accommodation in village dormitories and trek safety precautions. However, you need pay for extra meals, any other activities or anything that is not included in the cost.
