This one man has dedicated himself to helping children from 35 years.

His simple deeds have made the world a safer place.

He lives in Hyderabad in an area called Mir Chowk. 55 year old Christopher helps people cross the road.

Even though his name is Christopher, he goes by Laddu Bhai. Every day at 8 am he starts his daily activities. At the Floret School, he helps young students cross the busy roads.


He comes back to the school at 4pm when the school closes and once again helps the kids get home safe.

Laddu Bhai has become so popular among the kids that they don’t even cross the road until he comes.

He has received praise and appreciation from everyone including the traffic police.

The service he does is appreciated by the commuters as well.

However, he refuses to take any sort of compensation for what he does.

He refused monetary compensation several times.

Whenever someone tries to pay him, he says that he does it simply for his enjoyment and a personal sense of duty.

Laddu Bhai has four rented shops.

He says he earns about ₹12,000 from those shops and it is more than enough for him and his family to cover monthly expenses.

He only takes sweets and chocolates offered by the kids themselves.

He says it makes him happy when he is offered such small tokens from children.

For his deeds, he got very popular among the locals and even the traffic police.

Last year, the Mir Chowk police station even gave him a reward for his services.

They presented him with a whistle and a mask as well. Using these he can manage the traffic even better.

Its people like Laddu Bhai with their dedication to small deeds that make the world a better place.
