Founded in 2017 in Hyderabad by Taranjeet Singh Chhabra and Amar Preet Singh, Neeman’s combines comfort, style, and eco-consciousness in every pair.

Neeman’s was born out of Taranjeet’s frustration while travelling with multiple pairs of shoes.


He envisioned a single pair suitable for every occasion and weather. After researching global footwear practices, he discovered that most shoes were made from synthetic, environment-harming materials.

This inspired him to craft shoes using merino wool, a soft, renewable, and year-round wearable fibre.

The founders aimed to craft stylish, comfortable footwear that promotes sustainability and positively impacts the planet through responsible design and materials.

Today, Neeman’s stands for this philosophy through its products and practices.

Neeman’s shoes are crafted from merino wool, organic cotton, recycled rubber, and PET bottles, making them lightweight, flexible, and odour-resistant.

They are also machine-washable and suitable for all seasons. The company’s main product lines include Wool Classic Sneakers, Wool Joggers, and Wool Loafers, designed for both comfort and versatility.

Launched as a direct-to-consumer brand, Neeman’s sells via its website and major platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, and has expanded to offline retail stores such as Shoppers Stop and Lifestyle.

Priced between ₹5,500–₹5,850, the brand also offers a 7-day risk-free trial for customers.

Backed by investors such as Sixth Sense Ventures, Stride Ventures, and Anicut Angel Fund, Neeman’s has raised $9.8 million so far.

It has achieved a 661% growth rate, serves over 2.75 lakh customers, and records a 25% reorder rate.

Neeman’s is building a culture of comfort and sustainability in India’s rapidly growing $7–8 billion footwear market.

With innovative materials, a strong brand purpose, and a customer-first approach, the company is redefining how India wears shoes and changing the norm in the industry.
