India’s surprising exports to China and Pakistan

India’s pharmaceutical industry is renowned for producing affordable medicines, and these are in high demand across many countries, including Pakistan.

In addition to medicines, India also exports tea, coffee, fruits, vegetables (such as onions, tomatoes, and ginger), plastics and rubber products, chemicals, and textiles to Pakistan.

Cotton and textiles from India are vital for Pakistan’s textile industry, underscoring the importance of continued trade.

Even though trade has declined in recent years due to political factors, these essential goods remain central to both economies.
