Delhi government launches job portal
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a job portal, Rozgar Bazaar for job seekers to create new job opportunities.
The CM announced the web portal – https://rojgarbazaar.delhi.gov.in/ in a digital press conference. The web portal will be useful for both job aspirants and employers.
Job aspirants can visit the web portal and update their qualification and experience while the employers can post their requirement on the portal to recruit the candidates.
Kejriwal hopes the web portal will fill the gap between job seekers and employers. It will be helpful for businesses, construction companies, professionals, and many more in the national capital.
Several employees lost their jobs in the outbreak of COVID-19 and during the nationwide lockdown. Hence, Rozgar Bazaar has been launched to promote employment opportunities and boost the economy.
Many migrant workers went to their home areas due to lack of work. However, many activities have been resumed in Delhi. So, Kejriwal requested the migrant workers to come back to the national capital as the situation is now stable.
Usage of this web portal is free. The Labour and Employment Minister Gopal Rai warned middle men not to charge money from the job aspirants to avail this service.
He also requested the educated people to help others in operating this website.
The government also released a video on how to use the job portal and apply on this website.
