ECIL announces walk-in recruitment for 21 posts
Job seekers in the engineering and technical sectors have a new opportunity as Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has launched a walk-in recruitment drive for 21 contract-based positions across multiple locations in the country.
The recruitment covers posts such as Project Engineer, Technical Officer, Assistant Project Engineer, and Senior Artisan.
Eligible candidates can attend walk-in interviews between June 15 and June 19, 2026. The positions are available at Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and New Delhi.
Candidates with B.E./B.Tech, Diploma, or ITI qualifications in relevant disciplines can apply.
Applicants must also possess one to three years of post-qualification experience, depending on the post. However, candidates are allowed to apply for only one category of position.
Among the total vacancies, New Delhi has the highest allocation with nine posts. Hyderabad and Mumbai have five vacancies each, while Chennai and Kolkata have one post each. The openings are distributed across different engineering and technical roles.
For Project Engineer and Technical Officer positions, candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in disciplines such as Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation.
Assistant Project Engineer applicants should possess a relevant engineering diploma, whereas Senior Artisan candidates must have an ITI qualification in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation trades.
The selection process includes document verification followed by a personal interview. Final merit will be prepared based on educational qualifications, professional experience, and interview performance.
Qualification carries a weightage of 20 per cent, experience 30 per cent, and the interview 50 per cent.
Notably, ECIL has not prescribed any application fee for the recruitment process. Candidates must report to the designated venue with a completed application form, original certificates, and experience documents for verification.

The walk-in schedule begins in Kolkata on June 15, followed by Hyderabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi on June 18, while Chennai interviews will take place on June 19.
Registration will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. only.
