The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Gorakhpur, has opened applications for several project-based positions.

Educational qualifications differ across posts. Project Research Scientist-II requires a first-class Master’s degree in Population Geography, Biostatistics, Demography, Population Studies, or related disciplines, along with three years of research experience.

Alternatively, candidates with a second-class Master’s degree and a PhD plus experience are eligible. Project Research Scientist-I requires a postgraduate degree in relevant subjects, including integrated PG programs.

For Project Technical Support-III and Senior Project Assistant posts, candidates must hold a three-year graduate degree in relevant disciplines with three years of post-qualification experience.

A postgraduate degree in a related field is also acceptable. The Data Entry Operator post requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

Most positions require candidates to travel frequently for field-related assignments. Therefore, applicants should be physically fit and willing to work on-site as needed.

Age limits vary by designation. The maximum age for Research Scientist posts is 40 years. For Project Technical Support-III and Senior Project Assistant roles, the limit is 35 years.

The Data Entry Operator position has an upper age limit of 30 years.

The selection process will be conducted through an interview. The interview is scheduled for 23 February 2026 at 8:00 AM.
