Ayodhya’s transformation: Ram international airport nears completion
In a significant stride towards progress, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the first phase of the Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport in Ayodhya will be completed by December 15.
The Chief Minister, accompanied by Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation General (Retd) V.K. Singh, inspected the construction site and held a review meeting with officials.
The ambitious project, aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, aims to elevate Ayodhya as the beacon of new India.
Adityanath emphasized the transformative journey, highlighting the evolution from a modest airstrip measuring 178 acres to the grand scale of a sprawling international airport.
The Airports Authority of India has been working diligently, propelled by the allocation of 821 acres by the state government.
During the visit, discussions centred on the connectivity Ayodhya should establish with the country and the world.
Union Minister Scindia underscored the airport’s unique feature, a reflection of Ayodhya’s rich cultural heritage.
The Chief Minister, after overseeing the construction progress, expressed his commitment to providing essential infrastructure for Ayodhya’s development.
The colossal effort is part of the government’s dedicated initiative to restore Ayodhya’s historical prominence.
The visit was not solely focused on infrastructure; it embraced the spiritual essence of Ayodhya.
Yogi Adityanath, along with the union ministers, performed rituals at the Hanumangarhi temple and offered prayers to Ram Lalla.
The prayers extended to the well-being, happiness, and prosperity of the nation and its people.
In a symbolic gesture, the Chief Minister inquired about the progress of the Ram temple construction after seeking blessings at the Hanumangarhi temple.
Members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust briefed him on the ongoing developments.
As the Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport takes shape, Ayodhya stands at the crossroads of modernity and tradition.
The airport, with its cultural nuances, is poised to become a gateway not just for travellers but a testament to the evolving narrative of Ayodhya, a city embracing its past while embracing a promising future.
The completion of the first phase by December 15 marks a pivotal moment in Ayodhya’s transformative journey.
