CBSE app to help students find exam center | Fusion - WeRIndia

Every student knows the pressure of taking board exams. It is one of the most intense moments of life that almost everyone faced. There is so much to study and so much to learn. But in times like that, not finding the exam center makes things worse.

Finding the center and reaching it on time are very crucial in board exams. This is a problem many students all over India.

However, a new app has been launched by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to help with this problem. Using just a smartphone, one can resolve one’s exam center issues easily.

The app is called CBSE Exam Locator. As the name suggests it easily provides information for students regarding their exam centers as well as routes to these centers.

The CBSE announced this app stating that the Exam Locator App can be used by all students to quickly know the exam center based on their Roll Number.

They will get the address, images and geo location of the designated exam center on the map. It also tells how to reach there quickly.

At present, the app is launched just for Android phones.

It has a simple interface where students just have to select whether they want details of CBSE Class 10 or Class 12.

After selecting their class, they just have to enter their roll numbers. The information they need will be given in just a few taps of phone.

This year there are 19.8 lakh students appearing for the CBSE examinations which started on Wednesday.

Based on the success of the app, CBSE is looking to make other apps for other examinations like JEE Main, JEE Advanced and NEET.

This is likely to help most students as everyone these days have smartphones with them.
