  1. India is the greatest populous democratic country in the world.

  5. The longest corridor in the world is in Rameshwaram. It is 4000 feet long.
  6. India was certified by the World Health Organization in April, 2014 as a polio-free country.
  7. The world’s richest temple is in India. It is Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram. It has approximately Rs.1 lakh crore. With its precious metals and stones, it is far ahead of any other religious institution in the world.
