Independence Day Offers from Airlines | Fusion - WeRIndia

Airlines offer tickets at concession rates in several occasions. The offers and deals of the airlines lead to a price war among them. Normally, SpiceJet is ahead in this. But this time, the price war is between Jet Airways and AirAsia as both are offering tickets at a discount rate on the occasion of Independence Day.

As India is going to celebrate its 69th Independence Day, airlines are offering tickets at discount rates. In this context, Jet Airways and AirAsia India have introduced a new offer.

Under the Freedom sale offer, a flat 30% discount is applied on base fares of their flights from India to global destinations through their network. The classes include First Class, Première and Economy. The offer is valid is on the tickets that are bought during Aug 10, 2015 and August 14, 2015 for the travel between September 10, 2015 and April 14, 2016.

The offers is applied on both one way and return journey. The additional discount of Rs.250 off is applicable on one-way tickets if the tickets are booked from mobile app. This will be Rs.500 on return flights. Jet Airways states that offer is limited and available on the first come, first serve basis.

The tickets of AirAsia is available for Rs.3,490 from Bengaluru to Jaipur or Chandigarh, or from New Delhi to Bengaluru, Goa or Guwahati. The fares are all-inclusive. Tickets can be booked from August 10, 2015 to August 16, 2015 for the travel between August 11, 2015 and January 31, 2016. Passengers need to book the tickets in advance to use the offer.
