‘Monsoon Sale’ is a latest discount offer introduced by Jet Airways. Tickets are available from Rs.1,499 onwards under this scheme according to MakeMyTrip. Passengers can earn a discount up to 30% in both Premiere and Economy flights, and 60% off in Premiere in select flights through India. They can get an off up to 50% on both Premiere and Economy flights from India to select international places throughout their network under this scheme.

The offer is applicable on the tickets that are bought between July 8 and July 13, 2015 for the travel between July 20 and October 15 this year.

Under Jet Airways Monsoon Sale offer, the fares to various places from Delhi are as follows: Rs.1,499 to Lucknow, Rs.2,199 to Mumbai and Rs.2,999 to Bengaluru and Kolkata.

Similar offers are given from other airline carriers as well. Under ‘Red Hot Fares Sale ‘offer from SpiceJet, the low-cost carrier offered tickets for Rs.1,899 (all-inclusive). Another low-cost carrier AirAsia offered tickets from Rs.999 under a promotional scheme. Furthermore, clues were given by SpiceJet on Wednesday on reducing the fares in the near future due to a sharp decline in crude oil prices globally.

The discount and promotional offers of these airlines are attracting customers. As a result, the passenger traffic increased substantially. The increase is approximately 20 percent from the previous year.
