PM Modi inaugurates National Training Conclave

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the National Training Conclave held at the International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Delhi’s Pragati Maidan yesterday.

The Conclave aimed to promote collaboration among civil services training institutes. Also, it intends to strengthen the training infrastructure for civil servants across the country.

The event was organized by the Capacity Building Commission. Representatives from various civil services training institutes from all over India participated in the event.

Over 1500 representatives from various institutes attended the conclave. Additionally, civil servants from central government departments and state governments, and experts from the private sector were also present.


The conclave featured eight-panel discussions, each focusing on key concerns relevant to civil services training institutes. These include faculty development, training impact assessment, and content digitization.

During the event, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the importance of training at every level and for everyone. He highlighted the iGOT Karmayogi platform, which has created a level playing field by providing training opportunities to all.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the fact that over 10 lakh users had registered on the iGOT Karmayogi platform, indicating a keen interest in learning within the system.

He further explained that the Karmayogi Mission aims to improve the orientation, mindset, and approach of government personnel. This improvement would organically enhance the governance system.

The National Training Conclave, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, brought together representatives from civil services training institutes across India.

The event fostered collaboration and aimed to strengthen the training infrastructure for civil servants. The participation of civil servants, experts, and various training institutes ensured the exchange of ideas and the development of actionable strategies for capacity building.

Prime Minister Modi highlighted the iGOT Karmayogi platform and the Karmayogi Mission. Besides, he emphasised their role in providing equal training opportunities and improving the mindset and approach of government personnel, ultimately enhancing the governance system.
