Hire KSRTC’s double-decker buses for wedding photoshoot | Fusion - WeRIndia

Pre-wedding photoshoots are common now. If you want a different location for your pre-wedding and wedding photoshoots, then choose Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) double-decker buses.

KSRTC decided to rent out double-decker buses for photoshoots, especially for wedding photoshoots.

The rent is ₹4,000 for eight hours. It includes the payment made to the driver. Users can travel a maximum distance of 50 km during this period of eight hours. The rent is the discounted rate to attract more users. Officials said that it would be revised after December.

The first photoshoot was done by a girl and boy from Vamanapuram in Thiruvananthapuram.

The photos went viral on social media and several people started enquiring about the availability of double-decker bus for photoshoots. The procedure of availing buses for photoshoots is similar to that of movie shoots. Clearance will be given to users as per the availability.

KSRTC is facing a huge financial crisis. To improve its revenue, RTC designed this strategy.

Users who hire the double-decker can travel along with their family members for up to a short distance of 50 km. While family members travel on the lower floor of the double-decker bus, the couple can take photoshoot on the upper floor of the bus.

However, this move by KSRTC was criticized by many people. They said that while the primary purpose of RTC is to provide transportation facilities, they are allowing buses for photoshoots. They also added that even though it attracts some people in the beginning, it is doubtful how much the trend would remain. Moreover, there is no actual data on how much the KSRTC would benefit out of these methods.
