IB warns about JeM attacks in Jammu and Kashmir
The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has warned that the terrorists of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) might attack the Indian Air Force (IAF) in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.
In this regard, a high alert has been declared in the Valley.
The IB warns that the JeM trained eight terrorists to attack the Indian army.
Earlier, a warning has been issued that nearly 40 jihadis had been trained to strike in the country, not just the Kashmir Valley but other parts as well.
Some of the areas in the list of terror attacks are Maharashtra, Gujarat and some of the southern states.
The IB said that these terrorists are undergoing rigorous training at the Balakot facility of the JeM.
This facility was hit by the IAF after which it had been shut down. However, it has been activated again.
While the four intended targets had been efficiently hit by the IAF, the activities seem to have started again with the support of Pakistan.
After the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan is on an over-drive mode. It showed its impatience on this issue and warned India about possible nuclear war.
Several ceasefire violations have been reported in which the SSC Commandos have been involved.
Indian army is ready to handle the situation. The government is slowly easing the imposed restrictions in a phased manner across the Valley.
The IB said that Pakistan is looking to raise the tensions in the border area and deploying terrorists into the country from Afghanistan.
In addition to that, nearly 15 terrorists are waiting at the terror launch-pads along the LoC to intrude into Kashmir.
They may target important installations in many cities in the country in the coming weeks for a series of terror attacks.
