UIIC AO 2026: 225 Officer Posts Open

Government insurance careers offer stability, growth and attractive benefits.

United India Insurance Company Limited has announced recruitment for 225 Administrative Officer posts.

The opportunity covers Generalist and Hindi Officer positions, giving eligible graduates and postgraduate candidates a chance to enter the public-sector insurance industry.

UIIC released the AO 2026 notification on September 7, 2026. The online application window opened on September 8 and will remain active until September 28. Candidates can apply through the company’s official website.

The recruitment covers 200 Generalist and 25 Hindi Officer vacancies. Generalist applicants need a graduation or postgraduate qualification in any discipline.

However, Hindi Officer applicants must meet specific Hindi and English-related master’s qualification requirements.

The selection process has three stages. First, candidates will take the preliminary online objective test. Shortlisted applicants will then appear for the Main examination.

The Main stage includes objective and descriptive components. Finally, successful candidates will face an interview.

The preliminary examination is tentatively scheduled for October 22. Meanwhile, the Main examination will take place on November 30.

The preliminary pattern remains common across both disciplines. However, the Main examination differs according to the post.

For Generalists, the Main examination focuses on reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English, financial awareness and computer knowledge.

Hindi Officers will also face a separate professional knowledge section. Their paper covers Hindi, English, official language and translation-related areas.

The post carries a revised basic pay of ₹82,485. The approximate gross monthly salary at metropolitan centres is ₹1.10 lakh. Moreover, selected candidates will undergo a one-year probation period.

A five-year service commitment is also part of the recruitment conditions. Therefore, applicants should review the notification carefully before applying.

They should also keep their photograph, signature, certificates, mobile number and email ID ready.

With the deadline approaching, eligible graduates and postgraduate candidates should complete registration early. This can help them avoid last-minute technical or payment issues.
