MECL Recruitment 2026: 122 Posts Open
Government job aspirants have another opportunity to join Mineral Exploration & Consultancy Limited (MECL).
The company has announced 122 vacancies for various Non-Executive positions.
The recruitment covers 16 posts across technical, administrative and support roles.
These include Accountant, Technician, Assistant, Stenographer, Electrician, Machinist, Mechanic, Mechanic-cum-Operator (Drilling), Junior Driver and others. The vacancies are spread across W-3, W-4 and W-7 grades.
Online applications opened on September 12, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply until October 11, 2026. The eligibility cut-off date is September 1, 2026.
Candidates should note that the maximum age limit is 30 years for UR and EWS applicants. Reserved categories will receive age relaxation under applicable government rules.
The largest share of vacancies is for Mechanic-cum-Operator (Drilling), with 30 posts. Assistant (Materials) has 16 vacancies, while Technician (Survey) and Technician (Drilling) have 12 posts each.
Other positions include Accountant, Assistant (Accounts), Electrician, Junior Driver, Assistant (IT) and Assistant (HR).
Educational requirements differ by post. Candidates may need qualifications ranging from Class 10 and ITI certificates to diplomas, undergraduate degrees or specialised credentials. Several technical positions also require relevant experience.
For example, Accountant applicants need three years of post-qualification experience, while many technical posts require one year.
Pay will depend on the assigned grade. W-7 posts carry a pay scale of ₹22,900–₹55,900.
W-4 positions offer ₹20,200–₹49,300, while W-3 posts offer ₹19,600–₹47,900. Selected employees may also receive applicable allowances, insurance and other company benefits.
Applicants from General, OBC and EWS categories must pay a ₹500 registration fee. SC, ST, PwD, Ex-Servicemen and eligible departmental candidates are exempt.
The selection process includes application screening, a written competitive examination, document verification and a skill or trade test, where applicable. The written and practical tests will be conducted in Nagpur.
